It evolved from ideas about good fortune, magic powers and golden charms for luck, as well as bringing my own personal thoughts and memories from deep inside to the surface. These pieces show the inner workings. Layers that would normally be hidden are deliberately left hanging out for the viewer to ponder. The rough and ragged edges offer a glimpse of the process.
