SPAIN SERIES click on images to enlarge

Trips to Northern and Southern Spain renewed the reservoir of images in my mind. The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is stunning and expansive in it's "out of the box" architecture. A highlight of Southern Spain was time spent walking the paths and gardens in Granada. A visit to the Alhambra was breathtaking. The incredibly minute details - barely visible in some cases - gave a strong sense of the history of this place. In both the North and South, I discovered a wonderful mix of new and old, broad main roads and winding little alleys, hidden galleries and tiny, fully-packed shops that were all fodder for my art. With this series, I've attempted to revisit the colors and feelings I carried away with me.
