Water Haiku: Four Seasons

Throw a pebble into water and watch the concentric rings rush outward and then disappear.
Imagine looking into a serene pond in the dead of winter and seeing the moon’s reflection.
The new spring growth in and around a pond. Summer’s pond is bright and teeming with life.
The pond in autumn is quiet, catching falling leaves which create a very delicate water ring.

Hand-died and commercial cottons, hand and machine stitching. An original design.
