Created for the Surface Design conference exhibit at the Kansas City Art Institute, this two-sided piece highlights my discharge-dyed fabric (the black and brown). The delicate colors of the dupioni silk hint at a monk's robes. Dupioni silks, discharge-dyed cotton blend. Hand and machine stitched. An original design.
